Amy Winehouse launches record label

Taken from The Star Online

Controversial pop star Amy Winehouse has spent £1 million starting her own record company, with her goddaughter as the first signing.

The label will be called Lioness, and will be used as a platform to launch the career of Dionne Bromfield.

"I had a lot of record companies wanting to sign me but I didn't know where to go," the 13-year-old X-Factor finalist said. "So for Amy to set up this record company and make me her first signing means so much."
