Amy Winehouse is dating the son of legendary boxer and grilling machine inventor George Foreman.

The ‘Rehab’ singer is smitten with George III – nicknamed ‘Monk’ - after the pair enjoyed a string of secret dates.

A source said: “Amy told us that she’s dating George Foreman’s son, she said he is absolutely gorgeous.

“Amy also laughed and revealed he’s a very big man. She seemed genuinely excited about him.”

The 60-year-old former world champion has five sons – all named George – and it is 26-year-old George III who Amy, also 26, is believed to be dating.

George III appeared in reality TV show ‘Family Foreman’ in 2008 and is a fitness fanatic.

Amy – who has battled drug and alcohol abuse - is hoping her new love will help her lead a healthier lifestyle.

The source added: “She gushed about him for ages, like a lovesick teenager. She says he really looks after his body and is into sport, fitness and healthy living.”

LONDON — Amy Winehouse's tempestuous marriage ended Thursday when the singer and Blake Fielder-Civil were granted a divorce by a judge in London.

A judge read out the divorce decree for "Fielder-Civil B. v Winehouse A.J." along with those of other estranged couples at a brief Family Court hearing.

Neither 25-year-old Winehouse nor Fielder-Civil, 27, was in court Thursday. The divorce becomes final after six weeks and a day.

Winehouse married Fielder-Civil in Miami in 2007, but he was arrested six months later over an assault and sent to jail.

He filed for divorce earlier this year on the grounds of the soul diva's infidelity.

Divorce papers filed with the court stated that Fielder-Civil found living with Winehouse "intolerable." Winehouse acknowledged adultery and said she would not contest the divorce.

Winehouse shot to stardom with the multi-Grammy-winning album "Back to Black" in 2006. But her music has been overshadowed by reports of drug use, run-ins with the law and her tempestuous marriage.

The singer has spent the last few months on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. She is due to stand trial in London next week on charges of assaulting a fan.

Mitch and Janis Winehouse are desperate to "rescue" their 25-year-old daughter, who they claim is in "denial" about her substance abuse problem.
In an interview with ITV News due to screen in the UK tonight (17.06.09), Mitch said: “I need my daughter to be a whole person again.
"I tried it all – I said, ‘Amy you’ve got to do this, you’ve got to go to this doctor, you’ve got to do this, you’ve got to do that, you’re killing me, you’re killing your mum.’ None of it worked.” Janis added: “The need to rescue her is enormous. I just want her to be OK and I would do whatever it took to make that right.
"Amy is in denial all the time. She probably feels trapped. But I know with addiction you do not have the choice because the substance itself directs you.
"I want to say to her, ‘Amy, what are you doing? Don’t you know what you’re doing?’ But by then she has got herself on to it to help her get through and I understand that.”
Mitch goes on to blame the 'Rehab' singer's estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil for all her problems.
He explained: “The option of them being together is too horrible to contemplate. They are going to get divorced and who knows what’s going to happen down the line.
"Amy and Blake have decided that they want to get on with their lives separately, and if they get back together again in the future and they’re both clean and they still love each other, that’s up to them.”

Amy Winehouse is banned from adopting any more stray dogs in St. Lucia after outraged hotel staff had to fumigate her home.

The troubled star has been enjoying an extended break on the Caribbean island since December.

She surprised locals by taking in dogs she finds on the beach, and housing them in the luxury Cotton Bay resort she is living in.

But managers feared the star's makeshift kennels would cause a flea outbreak, so they deep-cleaned her suite and banned any more pets.

A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Management initially turned a blind eye to what Amy was doing. But she's adopted about five or six dogs now. They're all strays, without the proper vaccinations and they all have fleas.

"The management did not want the risk of any of the fleas infecting any of the other rooms. So they got a firm of fumigators in to blitz Amy's quarters and told her not to bring any more animals on site."

The 25-year-old's drug problems have been highly publicized and the soul diva has been in and out of rehab.

In the ITV interview her father, Mitch, says Winehouse is on a drug replacement program but continues to drink.

He says he has been powerless to change her behavior.

Snippets of the interview were shown Tuesday night on ITV. It was not immediately clear when the interview was conducted.

In an interview, Amy’s mom Janis says of her daughter: “The need to rescue her is enormous. I just want her to be okay and I would do whatever it took to make that right. Amy is in denial all the time. She probably feels trapped, the body is trapping her.

It’s sad because Amy has just replaced her drug habit with booze. She’s obviously not healing in St. Lucia. Only a real rehab facility could get Amy back on her feet, but sadly we don’t see that happening any time soon for her!

Amy revealed that she used to pop into the kitchen of her favourite boozer The Hawley Arms, grab some frozen mince, and make meatballs for her pals after boozy nights out.

She is also known for splashing hundreds of pounds on her favourite jerk chicken, steak, rice, and peas for her posse at Mr Jerk’s in London’s West End.

“When Amy’s working she gets loads of Caribbean food delivered to the studio. It can get a bit messy sometimes. But that’s where Amy gets her soul from - good old-fashioned soul food,” revealed the source.

A waxwork of Amy Winehouse was unveiled by her parents, the petite figure towering almost 6ft tall in killer heels and sporting a huge beehive.

Mitch and Janis Winehouse launched the Madame Tussauds work in the Music Zone of the venue popular with tourists.

The model of the Grammy Award-winning Back to Black singer wore the same outfit that her real-life inspiration wore to the Brits - a thigh-skimming mini dress teamed with black high heels and huge red hooped earrings.

Madame Tussauds said it was the first time the London attraction had immortalised the vocalist.

The 3ins beehive and 5ins heels made the figure, complete with signature black eyeliner, just under 6ft tall.

The singer's parents, who were at the venue with other family members, were full of praise for the waxwork, which joins other A-list names such as Madonna and Justin Timberlake.

Mitch said he was "stunned" at the "incredible" likeness to his daughter. He said his daughter was in the middle of working at the moment but would go to see the waxwork in the next week or two, when she would be "as blown away as we are".

He thanked Madame Tussauds for "rising above the general hype, the bad publicity about Amy.

"This is the reward for her musical achievements and her talent."

The figure captures Winehouse frozen in full song, complete with her tattoos - from the winged ankh on her back to lightning bolt, horseshoe, song bird, pin-up girls and "Blake's pocket" above her left breast.

The diva's mother, Janis, hopes the move to the quiet house in Somerset, South West England, will help her overcome her drug and drink problems after hearing it assisted Chris Byrne – a friend of the comic star – in beating alcoholism. The £800,000 property is currently on the market but Chris is considering turning it into a drug rehabilitation centre after Janis contacted him about the possibility of sending 24-year-old Amy there. Chris, 41 – who lives in the dwelling with ‘Carry On’ star Frankie’s former manager and partner, 80-year-old Dennis Heymer – said: “Janis said she wanted to come down and bring Amy as it might help her.
Janis seems to think there may be something in the atmosphere of the place that has healing. “I told her if the house does not sell I would turn it into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre.” The house is currently a tourist attraction, and also hosts concerts. It is open to the public as a museum of Frankie's collection of memorabilia to raise fund for charities. Frankie died at the age of 75 in 1992.

In spite of her great talent and fame, her success has always been shadowed by her public struggle with alcohol and drugs and her confused private life. In June 2008, her father declared that she had developed emphysema due to excessive cigarette smoking and cocaine cracking, but later her spokeswoman announced that she only has symptoms of pre-emphysema.

Once she finished her performance at the Rock in Rio festival, she left the venue on a helicopter without staying for an encore. Winehouse’s manager, Michael Jobson, told the RTVE, a national broadcaster, that Amy had been looking forward to performing in Madrid after making appearances in Hyde Park and Portugal.

Amy Winehouse has left a clinic after her Glastonbury performance, it has been claimed.

The 24-year-old was admitted to The London Clinic two weeks ago suffering from the lung disease emphysema.

She was given leave to perform at Nelson Mandela's Hyde Park birthday concert and her Glastonbury slot - her first full show in Britain for seven months.

Winehouse sang to 80,000 fans wearing a blue sequinned dress and umbrella cocktail sticks in her trademark beehive hairdo.

During the end of her performance, in what was supposed to be the comeback show for the troubled star, she lunged into the audience and clashed with an unseen reveller as she sang her most famous hit, Rehab.

James Gostelow, 25, from London, said he was elbowed in the head by the singer after someone in the crowd threw a hat at her.

After the set, she was whisked back to The London Clinic by helicopter, and 24 hours later she had left the clinic.

"Amy did return to hospital after her Glastonbury performance but her doctors recommended that she continue as an outpatient," her spokesman said.

"She was allowed to leave for the performances and it was felt that this went really well. As her treatment is coming to a close, it was decided she should return home," he added.

Friends have said she wanted to leave the clinic.

One said, "She told Mitch [her father], 'I'm climbing the walls in here. I need to get out'. She said if he didn't help her get out she'd walk out."

English singer songwriter Amy Winehouse is being immortalised in wax at the world famous Madame Tussauds museum.

The wax model, which was created by a team of 20 sculptors for some months, costs 100,000 pounds.

Winehouse is said to have insisted that her towering trademark beehive be perfectly recreated, and she even asked for her saucy 'sailor' tattoos to be engraved on the figure.

Her wax figure has been considered by the staff at the London attraction as worthy of being protected, especially after her Glaston-bury performance in which a fan lunged at her.

Bosses fear pranksters will try to topple the beehive from the figure, which will be unveiled later this month.

'We are really pleased to be creating Amy,' Daily Star quoted Tussauds general manager Edward Fuller as saying.

'Feedback for her inclusion just keeps on growing,' he added.

Tens of thousands of punters and a slew of A-list stars and musical acts gathered in London's Hyde Park Friday for a special concert honoring the South African leader's 90th birthday party. The biggest surprise of the evening came courtesy of a healthy-looking Amy Winehouse, who, despite speculation and a track record to the contrary, actually turned up as planned and delivered a hitch-free performance during the four-hour event.

Will Smith hosted the megaconcert (with ample help from wife Jada Pinkett Smith), which also counted Josh Groban, Leona Lewis, Queen, Annie Lennox, Stephen Fry, Quincy Jones, Lewis Hamilton, Simple Minds, Geri Halliwell, Razorlight and U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown among its stage-gracing guests.

Winehouse made her triumphant appearance roughly two hours into the show, first taking the stage with the rest of the performers to sing "Happy Birthday" to the guest of honor. Per usual, her trademark "Blake" heart brooch was ensconced firmly in her beehive.

Donning a short black-and-white dress, she took the stage again roughly a half-hour later to perform a solo set.

After a short struggle to adjust her microphone, Winehouse kicked off the set with "Rehab." The song's lack of slurred lyrics and nonshortness of breath combined with particularly effusive backup dancers resulted in major crowd love for the singer, who curtsied and twirled for the fans before next launching straight into "Valerie," a cover of the Zutons hit she performed on Mark Ronson's Version.

Remarkably, she left the stage after the two tunes without incident.

She then returned to the stage for the concert's finale to lead the rest of the artists in attendance in an updated version of the Specials' 1984 anthem "Free Nelson Mandela."

While Winehouse was one of the final performers added to the lineup last month, her appearance was iffy at best in recent weeks—she went from being hospitalized to having emphysema to not really having emphysema to having it, maybe, just a bit.

Pretaped messages abounded during the packed-house event, including a beamed-in Bono and The Edge joining in the "Happy Birthday" song and shout-outs from Susan Sarandon, Morgan Freeman, Gordon Ramsay, David Beckham (who garnered the loudest cheers of the montage) and wife Victoria (who garnered the loudest boos).

In addition to marking Mandela's entrée into the world of nonagenarians, the concert also raised funds for his HIV/AIDS charity, 46664, so named for his prison number.

In keeping with the theme, 46,664 people attended the concert in Hyde Park, which actually comes a few weeks before Mandela's real birthday, July 18.

Amy Winehouse has briefly left hospital to rehearse for the Nelson Mandela concert this Friday. However, following doctors' advice, the singer returned afterwards.

The multiple grammy winning star is receiving medical treatment at the London Clinic, near Harley Street, after collapsing at home last Monday.

Her spokesman said: "She had a couple of hours off to rehearse and everyone who heard her thought she sounded amazing so it went well. And it seems likely that she will be ready for the Mandela concert and for Glastonbury."

Queen, Dame Shirley Bassey, Annie Lennox and the Soweto Gospel Choir are among the acts that will appear at a concert for Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday on Friday.

The former South African president will travel to London for the event in Hyde Park which will host a crowd of 46,664 - Mr Mandela's old prison number.

It had been reported Miss Winehouse would miss the event after she was rushed to hospital.

But her spokesman said today: "She's really keen to perform this weekend and we've been told the treatment has been going well."

Her father revealed at the weekend that she could be suffering from emphysema.

In an interview with the Sunday Mirror, Mitch Winehouse said his daughter had developed the chronic lung disease, possibly brought on by smoking crack cocaine.

Mr Winehouse added that smoking crack and cigarettes had meant that her lungs were "all gunked up".

Amy Winehouse has been diagnosed with emphysema, thought to have been caused by smoking crack cocaine, her father has revealed.

The Grammy-award winning singer is being treated in a private London hospital, and could require a permanent oxygen mask, Mitch Winehouse told the Sunday Mirror.

The taxi driver said that his daughter started a drug replacement programme last Tuesday after being told she would need to wear the mask and may be confined to a wheelchair unless she abstained from smoking crack cocaine.

“With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes, her lungs are all gunked up. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She's got 70 per cent lung capacity."

“The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won't just ruin her voice, it will kill her.”

The singer, 24, was admitted to The Clinic last week after collapsing at her north London home. She told doctors she had not slept for 48 hours and they found she was suffering from an irregular heartbeat.

Scans showed Winehouse, who is scheduled to play at Glastonbury this weekend, had a lump in her chest, but doctors ruled out cancer and diagnosed the progressive lung disease.

British Lung Foundation spokesperson Dr Keith Prowse said Chronic Obstrusive Pulmonary Disease, an umbrella term for lung conditions like emphysema, rarely affected people in their twenties.

“It normally affects people in their forties onwards, but heavy smoking and inhaling other substances like drugs can age the lungs prematurely and bring on early onset in someone much younger.”

“COPD causes irreversible damage to the lungs, leaving the sufferer struggling for breath. The disease is progressive but it can be managed with treatment and stopping smoking is vital to slow it down and stop the lungs getting any worse."

Dr Prowse indicated Winehouse’s celebrated voice could be affected by her illness.

“In the late stages of the disease people with COPD struggle to walk more than a few steps and often are confined to a wheelchair. They have difficulty taking part in everyday activities. Anyone who relies on their lungs for a living, such as a singer, dancer, or musician, would struggle to find the breath to perform effectively.”

Winehouse won world-wide acclaim after releasing her second album, Back to Black, in 2006, but has since become more famous for her drug problems and chaotic lifesyle.

Over the past year she has been arrested four times, checked in and out of rehab repeatedly, and cancelled a string of performances.

Her husband of one year, Blake Fielder-Civil, is in prison after pleading guilty to charges of assault and perverting the course of justice.

Soul diva Amy Winehouse has damaged her lungs by smoking crack cocaine and cigarettes, her father said in an interview published Sunday.

The Sunday Mirror quoted Mitch Winehouse as saying that Amy has an early stage emphysema and an irregular heartbeat, and has been warned that she will have to wear an oxygen mask unless she stops smoking drugs.

"The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs, it won't just ruin her voice, it will kill her," Mitch Winehouse was quoted as saying. "There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She has 70 percent lung capacity."

Winehouse collapsed at her north London home Monday after signing autographs for a group of fans and was taken to a London hospital for tests. She remained there all week.

She is still scheduled to sing at a concert in London on Friday celebrating 90th birthday of Nelson Mandela, the South African Nobel Prize-winner, and plans to take part in the Glastonbury music festival the following day.

Mitch Winehouse said it would be good for his daughter to perform.

"When she's been inactive work-wise then that's when the problems really start. The doctors have said that medically there isn't any reason why she can't do Glastonbury," the paper quoted him as saying.

He also pleaded with her drug taking friends to stay away from her.

"What hope does she have if people are taking drugs around her," he said.

Amy Winehouse might have to miss Glastonbury and the Nelson Mandela concert next week, the singer's spokesman has admitted.

The troubled singer is booked to play at Mandela's 90th birthday concert in Hyde Park on Friday June 27 followed by Glastonbury, directly before headliner Jay-Z, the following day.

But Winehouse, who has fought heroin and crack addiction, is still in a London clinic awaiting the results of tests following her collapse at home.

A spokesman said Winehouse still intended to perform at both high-profile events, but that that doctors would decide whether she was well enough to take to the stage.

He said: "Amy has undergone more scans and tests and we are awaiting the verdict of her doctors.

"At present, she still intends to perform at the two scheduled dates next week. However, a decision will be made entirely upon the advice of her doctors and in her best interests."

Winehouse, 24, has been in the London Clinic since being taken there by her father Mitch after fainting at her home in Camden, north London, on Monday."
